CNC Bending Machine
What is CNC bending machine?
Computer Numerical Control (CNC) bending is a manufacturing process performed by CNC press brakes (also known as CNC brake presses). These machines can bend sheet metal parts from a few millimeters to several meters long on the largest industrial machines. CNC press brakes either have a fixed bottom bed with the V-block tool clamped in place or a top beam that moves under the action of the V-blade tool, which is called down-forming. On the opposite side is the upper forming machine that moves downward and the upper beam is fixed. Both process methods will produce the same sheet metal part, and there are no restrictions on the design of the part to fit either machine.
CNC press brakes have been around for a while but have gotten better with time and progress. It is a machine that helps to bend cold sheet metal into the desired geometry and cross-sectional shape. It has a variety of uses and is suitable for various industries such as manufacturing, automobiles, railways, aircraft, and shipbuilding.
